Following yesterday’s splendid kick-off to Book Week, even more dragon and mythical creature adventures took place in day 2. Break-time saw the Junior School library full to bursting, each boy looking for a perfect book – one which might contain a Golden Ticket and let him claim his prize, as well as taking out the library book. In Art, year 5 made amazing mythical masks. While in our Assembly, the arrival of six real live mythical creatures caused much excitement, with Dr Cue introducing Rupert and Ralph his favourite chameleons, as well as the two corn snakes. Boys watched open mouthed as Dr Cue talked about each creature, explaining its unique physiology. Already keen biologists, the Junior School boys loved meeting these wonderful creatures.
